House of Representatives
Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: December 17, 2012 04:12 PM
From: Representative Robert W. Godshall
To: All House members
Subject: Jt. Resolution to reduce the size of the General Assembly (Former HB 183)

We are all interested in cutting the size of government and getting rid of inefficiencies. With the technology age we are in now, there is no longer a need for the size of our legislature and the costs that go with it. Cutting the size would dramatically increase the efficiency of our legislative body. I plan to re-introduce HB 183, which is a Joint Resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, reducing the size of the General Assembly.

Former Co-sponsors: KOTIK, BOYD, CHRISTIANA, CREIGHTON, DALEY, DeLUCA, GINGRICH, HARHAI, HORNAMAN, MAHER, METZGAR, MULLERY, MURT, MUSTIO, PETRI, READSHAW, REED, REESE, ROAE, ROCK, SANTARSIERO, SCHRODER, SWANGER, VULAKOVICH, GILLEN, TRUITT and STEPHENS

Introduced as HB72
