Subject: Recognizing April 8, 2020, as "Local Government Day" and April 5-11, 2020, as "Local Government Week" in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, we will introduce a resolution recognizing April 8, 2020, as "Local Government Day" and April 5-11, 2020, as "Local Government Week" in the Commonwealth.

Pennsylvania is home to approximately 5,000 local government entities run by devoted individuals who provide essential services to our constituents. Since they are closest to the people, the value we place on our local governments cannot be understated.

Please join us in showing appreciation for our local government officials, employees, and many volunteers who work hard to provide vital services to their residents by co-sponsoring this resolution.
