Subject:	Legislation to Consolidate Job Training Programs

As part of the PA Works, package, I am reintroducing legislation to consolidate various job training programs in Pennsylvania. The bill would give the Department of Labor and Industry, in consultation with other state agencies, the power to administer several job training programs currently available in the state. Last session this was SB 235 and the following Senators were cosponsors: TEPLITZ, STACK, ARGALL, FONTANA, , TARTAGLIONE, HUGHES, FARNESE, BREWSTER, KITCHEN, WAUGH, COSTA, BLAKE and BOSCOLA
