Subject: Condolence Resolution: Police Officer Bradley M. Fox

In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution honoring the life of Officer Bradley M. Fox, "Brad," a 5-year veteran of the Plymouth Township Police Department. Officer Fox was tragically killed in the line of duty on Sept. 13, 2012. It was the eve of his 35th birthday. His canine partner Nick, a Belgian Malinois, was also shot during the incident and survived. Both had recently graduated from the Philadelphia Police Canine Academy.

Officer Fox was a SSgt. in the United States Marines for 10 years and completed two tours, 2003 in Iraq and 2005-2006 in Fallujah. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Presidential Unit Citation, Selected Marine Corp Reserve (X3) Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and The Armed Forces Reserve Medal.

Officer Fox was a gifted hockey player, playing for The Glaciers, Junior Flyers and William Tennent High School. He continued to play and most recently played for the SLUGS and the Blueliners

Officer Fox was married to Lynsay (nee Mattozzi) and was the loving father of Kadence, as well as a son due in March 2013. He was the son of Thomas J. and Kathy Lynn Fox and brother of James.

Please join me in honoring the life of Officer Fox and his service to this country. Thank you.
