TOEPEL, Marcy L., a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pa., August 17, 1958; graduated, Boyertown Area High School, 1976; first deputy, recorder of deeds and clerk of courts, Montgomery County; elected, Boyertown Area School Board (1993-1997); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by Special Election on May 18, 2010; Sworn-In, June 9, 2010 to serve the remaining 2009 term; reelected to the House for 5 more consecutive terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2013-2016); elected, Majority Caucus Chair (2017-2020); appointed, Select Committee on School Safety (2013); appointed, Joint State Government Commission (2017-2020); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2020).
