House of Representatives
Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: April 19, 2013 01:48 PM
From: Representative Ryan A. Bizzarro
To: All House members
Subject: Conveyance of Lands in the Borough of Waterford, Erie County

In the near future, I plan to introduce three pieces of legislation that would authorize the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and the Governor, to grant and convey to Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society, certain lands situate in the Borough of Waterford, Erie County.

The properties to be included are:

-Washington Monument Park
-Fort LeBoeuf Museum
-Judson House

In these difficult economic times, it is my goal to see that the Commonwealth be spared unnecessary expenses. Therefore, the conveyance of these lands will allow for the maintenance of these historic properties to be addressed without the use of Commonwealth funds.

Please join me in this effort to make sure these historic properties are transferred in the appropriate manner.
