Subject: Resolution Honoring the Bishop Canevin High School Girls' Basketball Team
 
I am introducing a resolution honoring the Bishop Canevin High School Girls’ Basketball Team for capturing the 2012-2013 PIAA State Class AA Girls’ Basketball Championship. The Crusaders won the State title by defeating York Catholic High School with a score of 45 to 38.

This is the first PIAA girls’ basketball title for the Bishop Canevin Crusaders. Bishop Canevin girls were triumphant on the state level just two weeks after winning their first WPIAL title.

As an alumnus of Bishop Canevin, it is with great pride that I introduce this resolution to honor the Bishop Canevin Girls’ for capturing their first state title. Therefore, I respectfully ask that you consider co-sponsoring this resolution. Thank you for your consideration.
