Brief Description Provides that when a person is discharged from inpatient mental health treatment, the person must be informed of his rights and obligations under the Uniform Firearms Act. It also shortens the period in which courts or mental health agencies must share data regarding involuntary commitments with law enforcement from 7 days to 72 hours of the involuntary commitment.
