This language was suggested by SERS. Under current law, the person’s pension is available for restitution. However, there is nothing requiring the pension administrator to hold the money until the court decides if restitution due. This language will require the pension administrator to hold the money until the court determines no restitution is due. In addition, this amendment makes a technical correction to the technical portion of the bill.
