Brief Description	The amendment strikes language in the bill that would allow for annual inspections instead of semi-annual inspections for motor carrier vehicles. The amendment also includes language from Rep. Heffley’s A03573 which amends the section on refunds of registration fees so the refund shall be pro-rated based on the number of months the vehicle was operational. In the case of apportioned registrations, PennDOT only has the authority to refund the fees paid for the Pennsylvania portion of the registration. Changes effective date to 90 days.
