The amendment replaces the language of the bill. Essentially, the amended version conforms to the original bill with the following exceptions: • At least one sign is to be posted “in a conspicuous manner, clearly visible to the public and employees. • Civil Penalties assessed by licensing agencies are payable to the Department of Labor and Industry (rather than the agency making the assessment) • Penalties may not exceed $500 (vs. a sliding scale based on the number of prior violations) • Eliminates criminal penalties • Licensing authorities shall provide notice of the requirement to their licensees included in the definition of “establishments”, which is identical to the original except that “truck stops” is not included
