This amendment ensures that a school board may select five administrative staff who are exempt from the requirement to have an equal percentage proportion of administrative staff suspended as professional employees. It clarifies that a teacher who has received two unsatisfactory evaluations during a three-year period may be suspended without consideration of seniority. It also removes provisions requiring a study by the Department and prohibits future collective bargaining agreements from including provisions prohibiting suspension of professional employees for economic reasons.
