House Committee Roll Call Votes

This amendment establishes a mandatory two business-day window for the transfer of a recorded deed or conveyance to a municipality requiring registration. The required transfer may be accomplished electronically or via registered or certified mail, return receipt requested. The amendment also specifies that a municipality may charge no more than $10.00 for registration and may in no way obligate the recorder of deeds to effect the registration.
