This legislation would amend Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for traffic-control signals. The amendment would prohibit a defense to a violation of subsection (a) (3) if a driver proceeded under the belief a traffic-control signal utilized a vehicle detection device or failed to operate due to the size of the pedalcycle or motorcycle when the signal did not utilize a vehicle detection device or failed to operate due to the size of the pedalcycle or motorcycle when the signal did not utilize a vehicle detection device or where the device did not operate due to the size of the pedalcycle or motorcycle.
