Brief Description
The bill prohibits the regulation of Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) services and other internet protocol-enabled services and also requires the PUC provide protection for enhanced 911 service fees, telecommunication relay service fees, universal service find fees and switched network access rates or other inter-carrier compensation rates and rates, terms or conditions of protected services under tariffs approved by the Public Utility Commission.
