	Act 45 of 2007 requires the Pennsylvania Department of Education to provide the General Assembly with a summary of the operations of the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts and Head Start Supplemental Assistance programs. In the 2019-2020 fiscal year Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts assisted 26,461 students from families earning up to 300 percent of the federal poverty level. Head Start Supplemental Assistance Programs served 7,790 children from families earning up to 100 percent of the federal poverty level.
