An Act amending the act of May 17, 1921 (P.L.682, No.284), known as The Insurance Company Law of 1921, further providing for definitions, for acquisition of control of or merger or consolidation with domestic insurer, for acquisitions involving insurers not otherwise covered, for registration of insurers, for standards and management of an insurer within a holding company system and for examination; providing for supervisory colleges and for group-wide supervision for international insurance groups; further providing for confidential treatment, for rules and regulations, for injunctions and certain prohibitions and for sanctions.
