Subject: William E. Tinsman Memorial Bridge
 
 In the near future, I will introduce legislation that will designate the state bridge over the Paunacussing Creek on State Route 32 in Lumberville, Solebury Township as the William E.Tinsman Bridge.
 
After graduating from George School, Bill spent three and a half years in the Navy serving in Vietnam.
 
One of the most impactful contributions Bill made was serving as a Solebury Township Supervisor and helping establish the Solebury Township Land Use Committee. His sense of community was evident in his actions.
 
Bill was a towering presence in Solebury. He was an active supporter of Bucks County Audubon Society, Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, and President of the Paunacussing Watershed Association.
 
He was awarded the Distinguished Citizen of Solebury honor in 2019 by the Solebury Township Historical Society.
