Subject: Pilot Program for Fire Companies with SGOC License to Conduct Two Online Raffles in Upcoming Year
 
I will be reintroducing Senate Bill 1298 to establish a pilot program for fire companies with a Small Games of Chance license to conduct two online raffles in the upcoming year. 

This will assist these already struggling fire departments, who are lacking both monetary resources and manpower, to continue providing critical services to our communities.  People would be able to use debit cards, but not credit cards. 

Previous cosponsors of this legislation included Senators Costa, Pittman, Scavello, J. Ward, Hutchinson, Mastriano and Stefano.  Thank you for your consideration of cosponsoring this important measure.
