Subject: Protecting Real Estate Surrounding Military Bases
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation that prevents land in close proximity of military bases in the Commonwealth from being sold to companies closely tied to foreign countries of concern.
  
We have already had instances of a company controlled by the Chinese Communist Party purchasing land near military bases in the United States such as Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota.  Pennsylvania is home to 12 major Military installments and dozens of smaller facilities that work in coordination to protect our state and country from foreign threats. It is our job to protect them as well.
 
It is paramount that our domestic military assets remain safe and secure to allow for the continued dominance of the United States and Pennsylvania on a global stage, and I hope you will join me in co-sponsoring this important legislation.
