Subject: Army Sergeant Joshua James Rimer Memorial Road
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation to designate the Harvey Run Road corridor in Freedom Borough and New Sewickley Township, Beaver County as the “Army Sergeant Joshua James Rimer Memorial Road.”
 
A 2003 Freedom Area graduate, Joshua James Rimer gave his life in the line of duty on July 22nd, 2009 while on a mission with the United States Army in Afghanistan. Joshua earned a bronze star and two purple hearts, among other commendations, throughout his service.
 
I am proud to offer this designation and work with Joshua’s family to honor him as requested. Like all who have given their lives in the line of duty for our country, we owe Joshua a debt we cannot repay. I humbly ask for your support; please join me in co-sponsoring this designation.
