Subject: Constitutional Amendment: Anti-Discrimination
 
In the near future, I intend on introducing legislation to amend the Pennsylvania Constitution by prohibiting discrimination based on:
 
  • Color
  • Familial Status
  • Religious Creed
  • Ancestry
  • Age
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Sexual Identity
  • Gender Identity or Expression
  • National Origin of the Individual; or
  • Usage of a Service or Support Animal Due to an Individual’s Disability
 
We will be voting in November to grant equal rights to individuals regardless of race or ethnicity on the November 2, 2021 election. We are already understanding the importance of this issue by having the voters of the Commonwealth prohibit discrimination based on race or ethnicity. It is equally important to prohibit discrimination based on the classes listed above. It is our duty as legislators to protect all Pennsylvanians. This legislation aims to do exactly that. Please join me in co-sponsoring this important constitutional amendment.
