Subject: Resolution celebrating July 17, 2020 as Pennsylvania Park and Recreation Professionals Day
 
As the Senate Co-Chairs of the Legislative Parks and Recreation Caucus, we plan to again introduce a Senate resolution designating and celebrating July 17, 2020 as Pennsylvania Park and Recreation Professionals Day.
 
This resolution will honor the professionals who contribute significantly to the health, well-being and quality of life of Pennsylvanians of all ages, as well as to the economic vitality of our communities. The value and importance of the work of these professionals has been underscored during the COVID-19 emergency as citizens have heavily used parks and trails across the Commonwealth.
 
Please join us in co-sponsoring this resolution.
