Subject: Municipal Police Enhancement Consolidation Grant Program Fund
 
In the near future, I will be reintroducing legislation to provide grants to establish the Municipal Police Enhancement Consolidation Grant Program Fund.

Grants under this program shall be used to improve and enhance the capabilities of municipal police departments, incentivize consolidation and provide training and other resources to municipal police officers.

The grants shall be administered by the PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency for Consolidation, Accreditation, Training and Certification, Community Outreach, and Enhanced Mental Health Services for Municipal Police Officers.
