Subject: Co-Sponsorship: Amending Prevailing Wage – Occupational Wage Rates
 
In the near future, I plan to re-introduce SB 820, which would amend the Prevailing Wage Act.

The bill would supplant the current prevailing wage calculation with the Occupational Wage Rates. This change would apply to each county’s wage rate respective and will more closely align them with market rates, potentially reducing project costs for local municipalities.

Previous co-sponsors of this legislation include Senators: D.White, Eichelberger, Piccola, Folmer, Yaw, Waugh, Vance, M. White, Brubaker, Earll, Alloway, Mensch, Baker.
