Senate of Pennsylvania
Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: December 3, 2012 10:07 AM
From: Senator LeAnna M. Washington
To: All Senate members
Subject: Changes to Voter ID - acceptable forms of ID

In the near future, I plan to introduce a bill that would add additional documentation as acceptable forms of identification for voting purposes.

I remain very concerned about the number of individuals who have been unable to obtain an acceptable form of identification under the current law. My bill aims to make other forms of identification - such as a current utility bill or a voter registration card - acceptable to comply with the law.
