Subject: Memo #10 - Bridge Turnback Program
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation which provides for the transfer of state owned bridges to municipalities. The Commonwealth currently operates the Highway Transfer “Turnback” Program that allows the transfer of local state owned roads to local government. However, this program does not specifically address bridges. My legislation would allow for the “turnback” of bridges to local governments.
