Subject: School Board Training
 
Soon I plan on introducing legislation that will enhance and make more efficient the training of elected school board officials.

Currently, the Department of Education is responsible for delivering that training. My legislation would allow professional organizations to implement the required training of elected school board officials. Elected school board directors should be able to utilize a trusted outlet for their required training.

My legislation will rectify this outdated requirement and implement more efficient and effective means to ensure our school board directors have access to high quality training.

Please join me in supporting this important and simple reform to make our school boards even better.
