Subject: Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement Use of Minors for Compliance Checks
 
In the near future I will again introduce legislation regarding the BLCE and liquor enforcement.

As many of you may be aware, the Bureau of Liquor  Control Enforcement (BLCE), housed under our State Police, has a program that allows BLCE to send in minors for compliance checks for liquor establishments. The program recently expired in December of 2022, but I believe this legislation is vital to ensure that our liquor establishments are not serving minors underage.

My legislation will set the new sunset date of the program until the end of 2027.
