House of Representatives
Session of 2021 - 2022 Regular Session

Posted: December 13, 2021 03:31 PM
From: Representative Jonathan Fritz
To: All House members
Subject: Quitclaim and release/Waymart Area Historical Society
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation that will roll back historical land use restrictions on land owned by the Waymart Area Historical Society in Canaan Township, Wayne County. This roll back would allow for the 2.76 acre parcel of land to be sold to Camp Freedom, a non-profit organization focused on creating an opportunity for disabled individuals and disabled Veterans and First Responders to experience the outdoors of Pennsylvania.
This is a tremendous opportunity to give back to our heroes and to provide a more accessible outdoors experience for all, please join me in co-sponsoring this legislation.

Introduced as HB2171
