Subject: | “Recognizing October 6, 2021 as Energy Efficiency Day in Pennsylvania” |
Energy efficiency is the cheapest, quickest, and cleanest way to meet our energy needs and reduce utility bills for residential, business, and industrial customers. Cutting energy waste saves up to $500 per year for the average household and contributes to the protection of our environment. To bring further awareness to the ways energy efficiency can help our Commonwealth and nation, we will be introducing a resolution designating October 6, 2021, as “Energy Efficiency Day” in Pennsylvania. More than 70,000 Pennsylvanians and more than 2.1 million Americans already work in the energy efficiency sector, and the room for growth is exponential. Please join us in promoting energy efficiency across the commonwealth. |
