Subject: | Reducing the Gaming Control Board from 7 to 5 Members |
In the near future, I will introduce legislation to reduce the number of board members on the Gaming Control Board from 7 to 5. Pennsylvania has about 700 different boards and commissions and only 12 of them pay their commissioners and board members an annual salary. The PA Turnpike pays each of its 5 commissioners $26,000 per year. The PA Liquor Control Board pays each of its 3 board members $76,000 per year. The PA Gaming Board pays each of its 7 board members $145,000 per year. I would greatly appreciate your co-sponsorship of this legislation to reduce the number of members on the Gaming Control Board. |
Introduced as HB994
