Subject: Home Mortgages Loan Modification during COVID-19
 
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all Pennsylvanians, causing tremendous hardship and stress. Many Pennsylvanians are worried about their job and wonder how they will make ends meet. These hard-working families should not have to worry about keeping a roof over their head when trying to keep their family safe during a time of crisis.

We need to provide families a fair chance to recover from the pandemic. Pennsylvanians are resilient and deserve a chance to live up to their obligations to make things right. That is why I plan to introduce legislation that would provide forbearance on guaranteed mortgages. The goal of this legislation is to help borrowers from incurring additional fees, interest, or negative impacts on their credit scores.

As legislators, we must do what is right and help those in need during this pandemic. I hope you will join me in co-sponsoring this important legislation.
