MEMORANDUM

Subject: Equal Protection for All
 
There is no place for hate or discrimination in Pennsylvania.  Yet today state law does not prohibit discrimination based on: 
  • Race 
  • Ethnicity 
  • Color 
  • familial status 
  • religious creed 
  • ancestry 
  • age 
  • sexual orientation 
  • gender identity or expression 
  • national origin of the individual; or 
  • the use of a service or support animal due to an individual’s disability.   
This discrepancy cannot continue.  It is our duty to lead and do everything in our power to protect all Pennsylvanians, even those who may be different than us in some manner.  Please join me in proclaiming that hate and discrimination have no place in our Commonwealth, and begin the process of amending our constitution to declare the same.
