Subject: George J. Dennis, Jr. Memorial Bridge
 
It is my intention to introduce legislation to designate a bridge, identified as Bridge Key 46475, carrying State Route 1021 over the Susquehanna River in Wyoming Borough, Luzerne County, as the George J. Dennis, Jr. Memorial Bridge
 
On February 11, 1972 George Dennis, Jr. was killed while at work for The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).  I would like to memorialize the life of Mr. Dennis for his commitment to his community and his dedicated work with PennDOT.
 
Please join me in honoring the life of George J. Dennis, Jr.
