Subject: Opening of indoor sports and recreational activities
 
I am planning to introduce legislation that will allow Pennsylvanians to engage in their favorite indoor sports and recreational activities beginning June 1.
 
While the governor has allowed some outdoor recreational facilities to open up, such as golf courses, I believe we should allow indoor recreation to open as well, as long as appropriate health and safety procedures are followed. 
 
Many people get their exercise participating in indoor sports and recreation such as fitness, indoor tennis, racquetball, basketball, and pickle ball, and I believe these activities can be engaged in with an eye toward safety just as well as outdoor activities.
 
Please join me in cosponsoring this important legislation.
