Subject: | Placing all retail stores that are not already considered a “life-sustaining business” in the “life-sustaining business” category due to COVID-19. |
In the near future, due to the COVID-19 situation, I plan to introduce legislation that would place all retail stores that are not already considered a “life-sustaining business” in the “life-sustaining business” category if both the following apply:
A retail store not normally classified as a life-sustaining business must only allow one customer at a time in the retail store.
A retail store not normally classified as a life-sustaining business must only allow one person at a time to be working in the retail store.
If just one customer and one person are working at any given time they could remain open because they would be considered a life-sustaining business.
I would greatly appreciate your co-sponsorship of this legislation. |
