Subject: Physician Anesthesiologist Week: January 26, 2020, to February 1, 2020
 
Undergoing surgery can be one of the most frightening and challenging experiences in an individual’s life, causing anxiety for the patient as well as the patient’s loved ones. Thankfully, our state and our country are well-served by a number of highly trained anesthesiologists who work tirelessly to ensure that our loved ones are properly cared for before, during, and after surgical procedures. Without the hard work of anesthesiologists in Pennsylvania, as well as throughout the country, safe and successful surgery simply would not be possible.

For this reason, I will be introducing a resolution to designate the week of January 26, 2020, to February 1, 2020, as “Physician Anesthesiologist Week.” Please join me in recognizing the outstanding work of physician anesthesiologists.
