|Subject:||SFC Thomas McDonough Memorial Bridge|
|In the near future, I will introduce legislation to honor Sergeant First Class Thomas McDonough.
The bill will designate the bridge on a portion of State Route 8042 over U.S. Route 40 in Washington County as the SFC Thomas McDonough Memorial Bridge.
A native of Brownsville in Washington County, SFC McDonough enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 where he served with the Ordnance Bomb Disposal Detachment, 1st Ordnance Medium Maintenance Company, 8th Cavalry Regiment in both WWII and the Korean War.
SFC McDonough gave his life in service to our country on September 6, 1950.
Please join me in sponsoring this important piece of legislation.
Thank you for your consideration.
Introduced as HB1915
