Subject:	Federal Funding for Stormwater Requirements

In the near future, we will be introducing a resolution urging the United States Congress to provide additional funding for our counties and municipalities to comply with stormwater requirements. For those of us in the Chesapeake Bay area, the federal requirements are stricter. This has put our counties and municipalities in a difficult position where they are required to comply with federal regulations and must find the funding to do so. One type of funding is the stormwater fee – a fee that our constituents are struggling to pay. Please join us in co-sponsoring this resolution.
