Subject: | Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea |
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution in support of all the men and women representing the United States of America at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. Every four years, we all come together to watch in awe as athletes from across the world showcase their skills in the pinnacle of all sporting events. This year, all eyes will be on PyeongChang, South Korea as the 23rd Winter Olympics Games commence on February 9. Nearly 100 athletes from across the United States will be travelling to PyeongChang to participate in a number of events, including the following from the Commonwealth: Ryan Gunderson, Chad Kolarik, Brian ONeill, and Ryan Zapolski (ice hockey); Summer Britcher and Jayson Terdiman (luge); and John Henry Krueger (short track speed skating). For those who wish to view the Team USA roster, it may be found at the following web address: https://www.teamusa.org/pyeongchang-2018-olympic-winter-games/team-usa/athletes. I encourage you to join me and supporting Team USA in PyeongChang, South Korea! |
