Subject: It’s On Us-- Campus Report Cards on Sexual Assault
 
In the near future, I intend to introduce legislation that would require schools K-12 as well as postsecondary institutions to annually report incidences of sexual assault and domestic violence to the Department of Education, which would then be published on the Department’s website as part of a Campus Report Card.

This bill is part of Governor Wolf’s “It’s On Us” initiative to combat violence and sexual assault in schools across the Commonwealth.

By creating these campus report cards, parents and students around the Commonwealth will be able to make better-informed decisions regarding college decisions, as well as what school districts are safest for their children. Additionally, this will increase transparency and accountability for all institutions.

Please join me in this effort to make schools across the Commonwealth more accountable and transparent.
