MEMORANDUM

Posted: April 12, 2017 01:31 PM
From: Representative Michael K. Hanna
To: All House members
Subject: U.S. Navy SOC David M. Collins Veterans Memorial Bridge

In the near future, I intend to introduce legislation designating a bridge at the junction of State Route 150 and State Route 64 over Fishing Creek in Mill Hall Borough, Clinton County, as the U.S. Navy SOC David M. Collins Veterans Memorial Bridge.

David Michael Collins was born and raised in Lock Haven, Pa. In 1988, David enlisted in the United States Navy where he served in the first Gulf War, the Iraq War and Operation Enduring Freedom.

After 25 years of service, he retired in September 2012 from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. On March 12, 2014, at age 45, David passed away in Virginia Beach, Va.

Please join me in honoring this American hero by offering your support of this proposal. Your co-sponsorship would be greatly appreciated by the residents of Bald Eagle Township and Mill Hall Borough who wish to honor Chief Petty Officer David Michael Collins’ life and legacy.

Thank you in advance for your consideration. If you have any questions, please contact Samantha Lockhart at 717-772-2283 or by email at SLockhart@pahouse.net.

Introduced as HB1270
