Subject: Exclusion of Savings Bonds being counted towards income
 
I plan to reintroduce legislation which further extends benefits and programs provided to senior citizens by the state lottery fund.

My legislation will exclude the cashing of savings bonds for seniors 65+ as being counted towards income when applying for lottery funded programs. (IE: PACE, PACENET and Property Tax/Rent Rebates).

This is a reintroduction of former HB 190. Prior cosponsors include; BENNINGHOFF, BROWNLEE, DEASY, DRISCOLL, GABLER, GIBBONS, HARHART, JAMES, KORTZ, M. K. KELLER, MARSHALL, MILLARD, MOUL, MURT, OBERLANDER, PEIFER, PICKETT, RAPP, SAYLOR, V. BROWN and WATSON.
