Subject: ROHHAD Awareness Day - November 17, 2015
 


In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution declaring November 17, 2015 as ROHHAD Awareness Day in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

My resolution focuses attention on this rare, life threatening, and life altering syndrome with no known cure that affects the autonomic nervous and endocrine system of young children which results in: respiratory problems that can result in respiratory arrest; weight gain; stomach ailments; eye problems; cardiac issues; and even seizure activity.

Please join me in promoting and increasing public awareness about ROHHADs in the hopes that someday we will find a cure.
