Subject:	Civic Education Awareness Week – September 27th through October 3rd, 2015

In the near future, I will introduce a resolution designating September 27 through October 3, 2015 as “Civic Education Awareness Week” in Pennsylvania. The purpose of this resolution is to bring attention to the importance of civics educated citizens to create and also understand the rights, duties and responsibilities that accompany the title. It is vital for Pennsylvania’s students to learn about what it means to be a citizenship in order to effectively take ownership of their government. Please join me in sponsoring this resolution to designate Civic Education Awareness Week.
