Subject: Condolence Resolution Honoring Officer Robert “Bob” Bradley, Jr.

In the near future, I intend to introduce a condolence resolution to honor the life and service of Robert “Bob” Bradley, Jr., who valiantly committed himself to a lifelong pursuit of protecting others as a law enforcement officer.

Mr. Bradley was born on June 7, 1971, in Pittsburgh to Robert W. Bradley, Sr., and the late Judith Sack Bradley. Mr. Bradley earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice in 1993 from The Pennsylvania State University. He later attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Municipal Police Training Academy where he graduated as class valedictorian in 1995. Most recently, Mr. Bradley earned his Juris Doctor in 2007 from Widener University School of Law.

Mr. Bradley served for 19 years as a police officer for State College Borough. In addition, Mr. Bradley was a criminal justice instructor at Kaplan University and a criminal procedures instructor at the University of Phoenix. Mr. Bradley also practiced law part-time at the Law Office of Robert W. Bradley. Sadly, on February 8, 2015, Mr. Bradley was on duty with the State College Borough Police when he reportedly collapsed. Mr. Bradley was rushed to the Mount Nittany Medical Center where emergency medical personnel made every effort to revive him. Unfortunately, Mr. Bradley passed away that same day. Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Jessica Poorman Bradley, and their children, Bruce Poorman, Maison, Karsyn and Robert “Brenden” Bradley.

Please join us in honoring the life and extraordinary sacrifice of Officer Robert “Bob” Bradley, Jr. Should you have any questions, please contact Samantha Lockhart via email at SLockhart@pahouse.net or via phone at 717-772-2283.
