MEMORANDUM

Posted: December 19, 2014 01:12 PM
From: Representative Neal P. Goodman
To: All House members
Subject: Nonresident Student Fishing Licenses

I will be introducing legislation allowing nonresident students to purchase fishing licenses at resident fees.

My legislation will permit nonresident full time students attending a high school, technical school, college or university in Pennsylvania to buy a fishing license for the same cost a resident would be charged.

In order to qualify, nonresident students must present to an issuing agent a current student identification card and show proof they have been enrolled as a full time student at least 30 days prior to the date of application. A spouse or dependent children of the nonresident student may also qualify for the nonresident fee.

These student licenses will be issued only on an annual basis. Multiple year licenses and online sales will not be made available to nonresident students.

Introduced as HB732
