Subject: American Jobs Bill
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation that will amend section 3222 of Title 58. This legislation’s goal is to help promote and protect American Jobs. Specifically, this legislation will require the DEP to create an online public database listing the country of origin for any steel product used in the completion of a gas well. This information is already gathered because of requirements in Act 13. This website will allow the data to be easily accessible and does not impose any new requirements on the industry.

Providing the public with this already obtained information will help retain American Jobs in the end. This legislation will shine a light on which companies help protect American Jobs or their bottom lines.
