Subject: FREE DR. MERIAM IBRAHIM FROM THE DEATH PENALTY IMPOSED BECAUSE OF HER CONVERSION TO CHRISTIANITY
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution urging the President of the United States and Congress to work to secure the release of Meriam Ibrahim.

Dr. Meriam Ibrahim, a former Muslim, has been sentenced to death by the Sudan government due to her conversion to Christianity.

She is confined to a prison where she gave birth to a daughter, Maya. Her 20-month-old son, Martin, is with her as well.

The prison conditions are horrible (overcrowded) and many fear for their survival.

Please join me by cosponsoring this resolution.
